God's Plans For You

Hey everyone! How are you guys?
Today we're talking about God's plans for you. Now all of us have those moments when we ask God "How can this be your plan for me?".
Well, God doesn't always work in ways we understand. And yes, this can be hard. The verse I always think of when I'm struggling with not understanding is: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
This verse is so encouraging! God plainly states that He knows the plans for each and every individual, and these plans are to prosper us. This is really hard to understand especially when a family member dies or when a family pet dies. But God never makes plans to harm you. He has a reason for every single hardship he puts you through.
It also helps to pray to God when you're going through a rough spot. I guarantee He'll listen to you.

Any thoughts or comments?

  2. Hello dear Katie! Grace to you!

I just wanted to say that the verse Jer. 29:11 is mistranslated in NIV translation.

For I have known the thoughts that I am thinking towards you -- an affirmation of Yhwh; thoughts of peace, and not of bad, to give to you posterity and hope.

    1. Hi reader!
I personally prefer to use the NIV on my blog. I do like reading other translations of the Bible though.
      Have a great day! :-)

    2. Katie, I think that you had misinterpreted that verse because of the mistranslation.

And I say: In the spirit walk you...

      gal. 5:16

and if by the spirit you are led, you are not under law

      gal. 5:18

And you, beloved, on your most holy faith building yourselves up, in the holy spirit praying,

      jude 1:20

      continually pray you

      1.thess. 5:17
